Search engines are weird.

I just searched on DuckDuckGo for "democracy is not served in a tea cup" which I believe I just made up out of whole cloth but wanted to double check, and all the results are articles on the topic of "Assessing claims about Tim Walz's military service"

First of all, who the fuck is Tim Walz? And second, why are ALL the hits on DuckDuckGo about this strange man? And third, primarily, why do they have anything at all to do with the phrase "democracy is not served in a tea cup"?

I feel like the Internet is just a bunch of propaganda. ALL of the internet now, the whole bloody thing.

I'm going outside to help remember where I am.

Wild. Just had the same results. One is DDG one is Brave. Luckily I only use Brave browser, but what about everyone using these products that isn’t aware of this problem?? More people need to wake up to these issues!

If true, this wouldn't be the first time corrupt cops have wrench attacked Bitcoiners. 2 Vietnamese cops and 5 accomplices were charged for a wrench attack in 2021.

My take on the HODL mindset? Bitcoin represents hope. Hope that the system can be improved, and reduce/eliminate the top down corruption that has become so prevalent. It is our best chance to fix the world.

Without that hope, people would be more likely to sink into despair and we need all the hope we can get. So it is clung to like a proverbial and literal life raft.

And I’m there for the ride.
