Why not spin up a micro app to solve this for any non-zapping client?

Picture this, user logs in with nip-07. Uses Nostr Wallet Connect to link something like Alby or their own node, sets budget and default zap amount. Authorizes, and done. Now the micro app watches the specified relays for "like" events on notes from you, and zaps the note according to your settings.

In theory, different emojis could be set to represent different values as well, or even keywords. Apple and any other app store would be none-the-wiser.

Gotta love planned obsolescence.

There are, but I'd rather not have to use Gboard as a result of the Big G's active efforts to make AOSP as garbage as possible and stick with the standard AOSP keyboard if possible.

Despite all the shit Calyx gets for being "behind" security updates (also as a result of Google delaying shit) their preinstalled apps are far more modern than the ones Graphene comes with (phone dialer and Vanadium aside). At the same times Graphene has features that make the OS better at both a functional and privacy/security level.

Calyx is more cohesive, Graphene more comprehensive. It just sucks to have to install more apps for some things the preinstalled ones lack; I'd kill for some of the Calyx apps to be part of Graphene, and vice versa for Graphene's features. Too bad Micay made shit difficult for everyone for mo fucking reason.

I have been eyeing framework laptops but will use my mac book till it stops working... then run linux on it. I tried solus and mint, pop looks cool though?

I mean, I went from Calyx to Graphene and despite some of the preinstalled apps lacking significantly compared to theirs (especially the keyboard, my GOD) I wouldn't switch back right away.
