Like, on one hand, I do definitely understand his hate for Broadcom. I get it.

But on the other hand, it really doesn't make sense to talk shit on other products that have valid use.

Seed signers, because they're based off of a Raspberry Pi and other bords, do not have a secure element, meaning they are not storing your seed on the device. Seed storage becomes the user's responsibility.

I guess ultimately though it comes down to user preference. Do you want to place your trust in a company like Coinkite to keep your seed safe, Or would you rather put your trust in a project that is actually FOSS and forces you to store your key in a different manner?

Some people probably won't like the responsibility that a seed signer kind of forces you to take on and would rather just have a single device that stores your keys and that's totally understandable.

In my original snide comment aside, as much as I want to respect NVK for being someone who actually does a lot of useful shit for Bitcoin, his business conduct is bad. He talks shit on other products simply because they're competition And called out his bullshit like changing licenses And trying to say that his project is still free and open source.

Basically, NVK likes to fud projects that are just fine to use because he's afraid of competition in a complete fucking clown.

I'm pretty proud of myself too. I've finally gotten to the point where I can actually grow my year's supply that I'm going to use and within reason still give away or sell a decent amount of weed and not run out until the end of next harvest.

Yeah I grow my yearly supply. It's pretty nice. I can do one outdoor grow and then have all the weed that I'm going to smoke for a year. And I like the new grow season because that means I'm going to finally smoke different flavors.

I'm also popping these seeds for some friends too. For their grow.

I've listened to that book. It's on my audiobook server. It makes me genuinely terrified of my own sleep habits.

But it's also why I use the phrase "natural night owl." Although I don't think that's the phrase that they use in the book for that type of sleep archetype.

I'm a natural night owl. I seem to get really good bursts of working energy at around like 10 p.m. to late in the evening like one or two. But then that means that I'm generally not fully functional until around 10 or 11 a.m. the next day.

But most of the world is geared towards a nine to five type schedule. So if I want to interact with normal business world then unfortunately I think I need to start adjusting my schedule more.

I'm genuinely not going to enjoy this process, but I think I'm going to have to start adjusting my sleep schedule so I wake up earlier and I'm active earlier.

With really tight and fast percussion I could see how that would be a pain in the ass to do live.

I've been on a really big drum and bass kick lately but my heart will probably forever be in psytrance. But I love all genres. depends on my mood.

Oh yeah, that's right, I always forget tailscale exists. I should probably make use of that more.

I have that as well but this is faster than waiting on TOR for zaping. It's a really minor nitpick, but it would be nice to be able to mark them as trusted or something if you're the one hosting them.

Goood morning. ☕
