A good story with a sad ending.
...
Their proud father recalled a work trip to Oklahoma with his son, Everett, who won a fellow cattleman’s heart with his diligence.
“We’re gathering several hundred head of cattle, sorting and loading trucks. One of these hard-working, blue-collar cattlemen was blown away watching my [son] running cattle around doing a good job and gave him a $20 bill,“ he said. ”A year later, my boy still has that $20 bill. That meant so much to him.”

My kids love reading books, collecting eggs, feed chickens, plant and harvest vegetable. But they also know how to setup a local area network and securely store encrypted passwords. The also know how to install software and by extension, play computer games. I value technology as much as I value conservative values. Teach your kids to wield this freedom responsibly.
You don't beat facebook by applying for a job at facebook.
His incentives was driving his train of thought there. The journalist actually got him triggered by asking the right questions. Most people who interview him are either totally ignorant about bitcoin or are just too happy about having him on their side.
When Saifedean wanted to talk about Austrian fundamentals Saylor became patronising and mocked Saife.
I think he showed the world the chip in his armour with regards to debate and dicussion.
This recent interviewer rightly, as a journalist should managed to keep poking him in the sore spot without being contentious.
He fucked up. His Paranoid crypto anarchists statrment dropped a mask showing his endearment to the current financial dispensation.
He wants the ponzi to continue so that his Ivory tower keeps rising. There is no humility. Boromir was a good guy but he could not handle the power of the ring.
Satoshi dissapeared. Time for Saylor to dissapear too.
I punch up hard for a day and get it out of my system.
There is no room for moderation when you are trying to shift the overton.
Moderation is for those who are comfortable with where the window is at.
I'll be happy when the window is shattered.
Another thing that cheeses me off is that so many companies selectively edited their youtube videos of that interview and only showed the convenient parts. I share their stuff thinking they did their due diligence.
I admit that I shared a lot of Micheal Saylor content over the years praising him for his insight. I looked past the ideas he had that I did not agree with. Now his wall street buddies can kiss his ass.
Cause he offended me. And I am ashamed that I held him up as a good example to non coiners.
He can rightly get knotted.
I am personally offended by Saylor's Paranoid crypto anarchist quote so I am on the warpath of the cyberhornet. If you agree with the sentiment feel free to use these memes.
My small contribution.

If you mess up you can alway self reflect and say sorry. I made a boo boo.
It did not seem like an accidental slip of the tongue. It seemed like bottled up resentment.
Remember Saifedean.
I got pissed with Micheal Saylor when he patronisingly fobbed of Saifedean on his own podcast pretending not to understand fundamental ecenomic principles.
Micheal Saylor is a dick.
And everyone who shills or praises MSTR is a shitcoiner.
Fuck Microstrategy.
I'm all about macro anyway.
I don't agree but I like the unique view. It seems like it can be teased out in a debate.
By the time they start pretending they probably won't have to.
I am going to get nostr.wine soon. I just don't have enough sats in my satoshi wallet atm. I don't arbitrarily move onchain sats either. At some point in the next month or so I will make the purchase. And I am zapping out a bit less than what comes in so my Nostr is not going to pay itself quickly.
I don't mind typo's and bad spelling in shortform messages. If the message get's across it's good enough.
But...
I cannot help being triggered by one specific and common mistake.
When people type loose when the context clearly shows that they meant lose.
It get's my gut every single time.
Thats why we like bitcoin. So that we don't have to trust.
Trusted third party goes bye, bye.
Saylor's going to gaslight folks into believing that self custody is bad and we shouldn't continue improving the protocol because he wants you to buy $MSTR and regulated ETF products.

As I've been warning

I made a comment on Saylor this morning. Go read it on my feed. Also check out echdel.npub.pro it's a work in progress but I think you'll all appreciate if you don't suffer from mild adhd.
