Why is transferring bytes over an SD card versus a cable different, especially since you can verify the transaction on the cold card's screen anyway?

Is there no way to hook up an external wallet to Primal on mobile? Really not seeing the point in KYCing myself just to zap.

The kicker is that people want to fight this stupid culture war about whether somebody can call themselves what they want (spoiler: they can), even though it has exactly 0 effect on their life and they've probably never even physically seen a trans person in their life. It's not like it's *that* common.

A #nostrfirst sneak peak of Tuesday's TPB episode, featuring Universal Basic Income (UBI) expert and advocate Scott Santens and special guest co-host nostr:npub12lzwey2hjc2ce0stwa3ldhg04h93wj263lvdhrf87qfzz9jsggeqwuntw2

In this clip nostr:npub164q45vfa8prpl7f63stsl9qm9n22v6julkasjdqxjc8kevchsj0sp42rl3, Scott and Margot discuss #Bitcoin and UBI. For those skeptical of UBI, or specifically of the how and what of Bitcoin and UBI, check out this clip and also be sure to listen wherever you get your podcasts to the 1hr50min of fantastic content, myth-busting and education on UBI in Tuesday's episode.

I had no idea you brought the podcast back! Awesome, gonna sub on fountain 😃

Honestly I prefer chat above both. People are usually more cordial with each other since there's not an audience to talk to.

I've long been a hater of Twitter's "flat" model, where everything comes out of the same firehose. It means it's impossible to moderate communities like you can on forums or on sites like reddit. I see Twitter-clone nostr falling into this same trap. Unmoderated internet fucking sucks.

This comic is from 2004ish (pre modern social media) and is still just as true today, if not moreso now that we're on impossible-to moderate platforms.

The way some people on here dismiss anything coming from authority, I'm expecting the next video to pop into my feed titled "Drinking and driving, is it ACTUALLY dangerous?"

I have a friend that's very good at solving this problem using clear communication, like an adult. She jokingly asks her friends "are you coming to me expecting a male response (looking for a solution), or a female response (looking to vent)?

There's a few good ones here and there, they just also make a lot of garbage. Frankly, the same as it ever was. For every classic from decades ago, one could rattle off a dozen TV-only or straight-to-DVD duds

How are you gonna daily drive it without a simcard? 🤔
