As I work to finish up my next mythic album project, I am concurrently gearing up my solo performance setup. After a great deal of research I settled on #Roland #SP-404MKII as the next piece. It arrived last month, and there's a definite learning curve. Today I had my first round of success achieving the sound I was hearing. When I fired up the rest of the gear and dialed in volumes I took a quick recording snapshot to get an idea of how everything sounds together. It was a first take, and I can see the path forward there's still more to go to bring it all together, and I will be a sonic wizard on the precipice of existence. A place that I love to jump from.

I have both a chimney flue and and air intake cut off. When I know I am going to bed and don't need to keep adding wood, I close both off. Depending on the coal bed, determines how well the remaining wood chars.

I finished this hugel bed up today. After filling it with logs and branches old sheep feed and chicken manure. I topped it off with seaweed, a couple of dead rats, the leftovers of a processed rabbit, 4 wheel barrow loads of conpost, then a layer of dirt a layer of used canary reed grass another layer of dirt and topped with the used canary reed grass. I meant to add more char, but it's in with the chicken manure. I also planted 16 tulip bulbs at the foot of the bed, as this will be something my wife comes by on the way to her office.
