It's in someone's best interest to be honest. It also helps them overcome any actual insecurities if you can be consistently honest with you as they'll trust your judgement more.
It's hard, you don't just have to be not overweight you have to be pretty low in the healthy weight range. But I'm going at a good rate now so I think I have a shot.
