https://walletscrutiny.com https://nostr.info Working on Bitcoin, Nostr and being a good dad.

If I did a kind-6 repost by accident, what can I use to delete it?

Hey nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr! I love noStrudel and wonder who's behind it. Is this your fun project or do you have a team? It's amazing the quality you are delivering and it certainly feels like a whole team working on this, yet the repo claims it's basically all you.

I said it many times and I'll say it again: Please consider the friends-of-friends!

Have paid users. These are tier 1. Their follows are tier 2 etc. Put limits on each tier independently. For example:

tier 1: Just like all the other paid relays

tier 2: No more than 5 mentions per minute. No more than 20 events per hour or 100 per day. Events get deleted after a month.

tier 3: 5 mentions per hour. Event gets deleted after a day. No back-dating. No links. ...

Well, if nation states tax their citizens to pay the miners to fill the blocks with garbage then this could actually work as an attack on Bitcoin, at least for a while. It can get ramped up or down from one day to the other, so it could go on for weeks with "random" pauses as needed. If randomly every other week, Bitcoin turns unusable, it will loose a lot of users.

I thought xitter ranked higher but I also don't think MAUs is the only metric. I think, text-based platforms are just more relevant for a censorship resistant protocol.

Can somebody design a nice CTV support badge and award me and others? I would happily accept it.

If daddy promises you to give you your allowance ... wait ... you're 3? Well, so you really want to eat the chocolate but daddy wants you to eat the broccoli first. Now with CTV he can magically reserve the chocolate for after eating the broccoli in a way your brother can't get your chocolate bar.

Not sure what you're trying to say here but mining fees go to the miner that finds the next block. Miners can pay themselves to make plebs pay more for their normal transactions without obviously mining empty blocks else but as these transactions can be mined by any pool, this is an incentive for miners in general and not limited to some cabal of insiders.

How is this not a state actor attack? They will pay north of $10 million USD to waste block space.

This game was my single most plaid game ever but long time ago. Great time in München Studentenstadt where we had a giant LAN for students.

The chain has no mining. It's a federation of companies that can decide to make blocks as big as they like.

A privacy focused decentralized exchange.

Anybody interested in building an MMORPG-RTS?

Asset creation used to be the most expensive part of MMORPG building. But now that we have A.I. I think that is going to change massively.

I have a lifetime of ideas (started thinking about these kinds of games when I was 9) about engines, mechanics, and what makes a game fun that have never been put to good use. I built a game engine a few years back and published some of an old version of it at https://github.com/siegeengine (I don't think it works anymore) as well as just a few posts at https://gnomonicgames.com but 90% of what I was working on has never been published, including a wiki explaining the game and why it is the way it is.

Of course I'm working on gossip right now. But who knows what is going to happen when June rolls around. I could see gossip being pretty much "finished" by then.

Game Properties:

MMO - massively multiplayer online - you can see and interact with many players at once.

RPG - players adopt roles

PvP, Competitive - player killing without griefing, competitive in other ways

Real-time strategy - players change the world, and the world continues to evolve while you are offline

Open-world, sandbox

Will it be open source? I worked on https://globulation2.org coming out of university and still plan to some day sponsor some glob3 :D But game development while fun just doesn't cut it for top priority for my time spent. Bitcoin and nostr are just too important.
