Fix your borders?

Also drugs don't kill people. Fix your people to not slow suicide on fentanyl?

A world without norms is scary and you simping for Trump's power grab is pathetic. Cheering for bullies is easy as long as you're on their side.

Nodes with low upstream capacity might be poorer connected or under higher load or have other bottlenecks. Running 50 nodes on one VPS is not the same as 1 node on a barebone.

Repeating Trump's propaganda doesn't make it just. Since when can a country execute an extradition within a foreigner country? That's not how the rules were supposed to work. Also Trump now openly assuming power in Venezuela contradicts his narrative that he only wanted Maduro to face justice.

What does his own bounty have to do with any of that?

The "rules-based order" is effectively a promise to respect sovereign nations until the world collectively decides to take measures. The fundamental deal was simple: soldiers crossing the lines we agreed to draw on the maps require declarations of war. If they do so without one, a rule is broken, and the international community is obligated to punish the perpetrator collectively.

But that deal is dead. The operation to capture Maduro in Caracas yesterday proves it. We aren't dealing with hypotheticals anymore; the US just removed a sitting head of state and announced administrative control over a sovereign nation. Whether it’s Russia annexing parts of Ukraine, the ongoing sovereignty crisis in Palestine, or now the US directly intervening in Venezuela, the mask is entirely off.

We have learned over the past few decades that institutions like the UN and NATO were mostly larping effective governance until things got serious. Now that the threat of collective punishment has evaporated, strong countries are turning more and more expansionist. The scary part is this transition period. We don't know what the rules are anymore because the old ones are unenforceable. I just hope nukes remain off limits while the new order is decided.

Did they taxi them out as part of a deal or did they actually prefer to die fighting? 🤔

Wrath of justice? TIL.

Imagine China bombed the US over some "mostly peaceful" protests. 🤔

But given you're somewhat not new to coinjoin, were prior bookings not private UTXOs?

Warning: do NOT use travala.com any more, if you did.

They directly stole my money.

Here is my response to the customer service agent:

(Customer service agent),

> Sorry for the delay, im ahmed from compliance department, for refund or either processing the booking, the verification is a mandatory step, we require the minimum and basic info for that, and you can pass it easily through the following link :

Let's establish the facts: I have been a regular customer of Travala for years, have done probably a hundred or more bookings through your site - mentioning this *not* to claim some status as a customer (which I do not want, and do not have), but to point out that ZERO times on the website or through any of those transactions was it mentioned that you could simply keep my money and provide no service - i.e. STEAL my money - if I did not pass a verification process -handing over extensive and intrusive personal documents - that you never documented anywhere. And indeed for this booking, again, no such advance warning was given.

So you (that is to say Travala, not you personally!) act exactly as a kidnapper: to give me back the money which is mine, you insist that I hand over security sensitive information. Which I will not do. There are an endless stream of documented violent theft events of cryptocurrency holders, so spreading one's personal information is stupid, and any claim you make to "keep my data safe" is ridiculous, given the equally endless stream of reported hacking events. I do not trust your company with my personal information because I don't trust *any* company with it.

I have been doing Bitcoin development work for over a decade, I will make sure that a lot of people in the community know that Travala steals its customers money, directly, with no apology.

Feel free to pass this message to any management, I would appreciate that.

Bummer. Cheapair fell. Now Travala. The walls are closing in. The biggest corporations get deputized first.

Was? Das geht doch in beide Richtungen. Du kannst als Käufer und als Verkäufer Maker oder Taker sein. Maker muss sich um Scammer kümmern, kann aber eine Gebühr verlangen.

Physical gold, too. Apparently many think they are holding gold certificates to this day.

So if paper BTC are "backed by real BTC", people need to understand that repeatability is key. They don't and they don't care.

The api to see what's installed and to get notified on install, uninstall and update events is old and got more restrictive in newer android versions but this is totally possible.

Should a banking app refuse to work if an unknown version of a password manager is installed? Maybe not far fetched.

Merry Christmas to all builders and sovereign individuals.

Also you can have more wounded than soldiers if you count them each time they have some minor insury.
