Same here, probably the worst decision 😂

Hard to believe orange man considering past events

Ahh gotcha. Mutiny through a browser would probably be a good setup since they use Fedimint

Sign of failed parenting and lack of understanding. There are other ways to gain the respect and attention of your kid that isn't destructive

Single custodian, more likely to get rugged

I onboarded a friend to #lightning and #cashu recently with the nostr:npub1dx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6st288sj wallet by paying him back for #pizzastr on Wednesday. He’s been in ₿itcoin and crypto for a while, but had only heard of lightning from me. I thought having something custodial but KYC free would be the best move so he wouldn’t need to worry about channels yet, and eNuts seemed like the best compromise even though the cashu stuff might complicate things a little for him. What’s everyone else’s favorite onboarding wallets? #asknostr #BItcoin

I like Minibits. They can use the LN address for Nostr zaps too. We shouldn't force new users into KYC wallets just because they are "user friendly"

Not to mention there is no KYC with Minibits. If we consider that newbies can operate a bank app they can probably navigate Minibits. Once they are comfortable with ecash, then we show them Mutiny!

It provides an easy copy and paste lightning address and can easily be connected to nostr with an npub to pay people you follow. Plus they get the added privacy from the mint by default
