Have a great day! ☀️⚡️👍

There’s a big section about the “hit factories” including Max Martin and those in that circle in Sweden. Very interesting how sought-after people who could almost guarantee hit song were/are.

Yeah I enjoyed the history and listened to any music mentioned along the way that I wasn’t familiar with so it was a good education for me.

What do people think of the sMiles app?

If I understood correctly, we can install an iPhone shortcut that can grab the information about a note we select and then it lets us send a #zap to that note/user from your wallet? Seems genius!

Thanks for sharing. Makes sense that the industry is going further in this direction. Reminds me of a section in this book about testing songs by calling random people and playing it for them over the phone.

Life has many paths free of interruptions from 🤡🌎 I think. They all take focus and dedication but are worth it. Life’s too short to not say no to what drains the joy out of your existence.

A couple of years ago, I got passionate about #bitcoin and collecting #vinyl records at the same time.

Something about true ownership and a degree of scarcity.

I love discovering versions of music from decades ago that was never converted to CD and therefore never included into streaming services.

One of my favorite records is a Led Zeppelin pressing that some people hate because the drums are “too hot” but I think it sounds insanely good. That’s not the version you hear on the streaming services.

Anyway, caring a lot about music leads to vinyl. Caring about scarcity leads to Bitcoin.

Does anyone else here on #nostr love listening to vinyl records?

This Coltrane album is a beauty.

I have also quite enjoyed the old novels. Bit of a time-trip but undeniably intriguing.

Cleaning up and making some creative time. Also, learning more nostr know how.
