I think that's right.

One thing I've learned from failed attempts at "orange pilling" is that you can't sell something to someone who believes they have no need for that thing. If "normies" are generally happy with their current social media platforms they don't have a strong enough incentive to learn a new platform. If/When they realize they need a censorship resistant platform #nostr will be there for them.

I think people will really appreciate Nostr once it isn’t just bitcoiners on here. Apps like Damus really do make it similar to twitter but without all the bots and undisclosed advertisements, but I have seen people try it and just leave after a while because they don’t care about Bitcoin. Kinda difficult though because that is a chicken and egg problem

🤦‍♂️ seems like it’s finally time for me to ditch my ledger, been putting it off for too long

During the last #Bitcoin bull run, many from the class of 2020 and 2021 learned to stack a several sats every single day via app rewards from Fold, Lolli, Smiles, Choice, ZBD, etc. These gaming or loot box style rewards would yield maybe 100-200 sats per day depending on your luck. Today, we can stack far greater amounts of sats on Nostr. The next Bitcoin class will learn about the value of stacking sats and want to join Nostr, because the potential to stack is far greater than other apps and methods mentioned above. People come to Bitcoin during the "Number go Up" phase and I believe this will directly corelate to Nostr's growth too.

Agreed, can’t wait for a wider range of people to get on here! Although it is kind of cool at the moment having so many bitcoiners in one place

It feels the same to be honest. The early days of Google+ were glorious and very engaging. Everyone was helpful and was excited as the platform grew. Content was king, long form posts and replies were always very engaging. It's very similar to Nostr.

With any luck nostr will do much better than Google+ though 😂
