There are boilers with 2 independent heating spirals. So you can connect your van to one of them and the other one will stay connected to the house.
This way you can use van panels to help heat the water in your house.
I have 14kWh battery and ~8kW-peak pannels. I am able to use up around 18kWh a day but I still have excess energy.
The problem is, even with quite large battery, I am unable to survive without sun more then 2 days, because in cloudy days the FV makes virtually nothing.
The heating of the water is the problem. It takes 7-13kWh a day.
This is me these days.
VRM is more popular than YouTube on my phone.

Btw, I have learned ton about electricity with Victron.
- First lesson was about splitting the load between the phases, then building a habbit (for whole family) in usage of them.
- Second was, that managing a one-phase boiler for water heating is pretty hard and I need 3-phase heating one.
... and more.
If its on your house, how do you use excess energy? Do you sell it? Have you installed AC? Are you heating the pool? Are you mining?
This is me these days.

FV on your house or van?
- Step 1. Buy Pixel phone
- Step 2. Install GrapheneOS
- Step 3. Install Vexl and other apps
- Step 4. Sell your iPhone
- Step 5. Enjoy your newly gained freedon to transact.
Congratulations. You have just left a golden cage.
I got myself a new phone, finally.
I am migrating data over https://syncthing.net/ and it works beautifully.
No need for Google Drive, or any Apple "Cloud". No third party to store my data.
Local first os the way to go for any Sovereign Individual.
Today, it is 18th day I am running my house disconnected from the grid. Photovoltaic panels are my only source of electricity.
If feels amazing.
Of course I won't be able to do this during winter. But it's still a great feeling, the taste of independence.
The optionality level of my life increased drastically.

Ask permission is seeking denial.
Stop simping Musk's Twitter, became sovereign.
This is reality. Nostriches got cancelled or bend the knee. Vexl got cancelled.
I am not saying don't do web PWA whatever. I am saying do it first. Don't even bother with Apple. Is waste of time for any Bitcoin app.
- You are an app that is powered by network effects (n^2, see Andrew Chan's Cold Start problem - really good book)
- Half of your users use Apple, regardless of what you believe is a good platform.
- n_1 = n/2 means your network effect is one fourth, which since you have a cold start problem makes the app unusable and people leave
So regardless of the wishes and opinions, unfortunately it is not feasible to ignore Apple users.

Apple just cancels you. You won't have Apple users anyway. (You looses time and money for putting effort to develop the app and make it approved.)
This simply renders your cold start calculations irrelevant.
"Allow" is the problem here. You are not sovereign, you are a subordinate who has to ask permission (and because they said no, you have to find a bigger guy with the gun and ask him in this case, pretty please, point the gun on Apple and force him to give my my shiny thingy). It's radiculous.
I am still shocked why so many Bitcoin/Freedom/Cypherpunk people still praise this closed dystopian rent-seeking "monopoly" (I know, it's not true monopoly by Mises standards). It's shit. Admit it.
Lol, this what you get when you try to please the lords. Developing iOS app is waste of time. Interacting with Apple is waste of time.
Asking for permission is seeking for denial.

After the Nostr/Plebstr zap fiasco, Apple has found a new low. Recommending people to use cash is "clearly reckless", as authors of peer to peer Bitcoin trading app nostr:npub1mftv2j67vayavkks8rqev3u8jjhefe86tf80msstfxvpunk9vmps6prkl3 have found out.

PWA is the way:

Yes it works. It's great and I have only one real contact who uses is there.
I decided I automate nearly everything in my house. Smart House solutions are pretty done today with many competitors are established.
What is not done, are ideas and solutions and whrre and how to apply them.
- ✅ Automatic lightning based on presence
- ✅ Different colors (temperature) and intensity of the light, based on the time of the day dusk and dawn
- ✅ Night mode which is turned on manually from bedrooms which makes lights even dimmer
- ✅ Automatic shading based on time of the day (in respect to the dusk/dawn times)
- ✅ Alarm based on the presence sensors
- ✅ Presence simulation (light goes on randomly to simulate presence in the house when we are away)
- 🛠️ Automatic watering system for lawn and trees in the garden
- ✅ Integration with thermal pump and automation of heating/cooling
- ✅ CO2 detection and automation of ventilation when it's too high (in bedroom and living room)
- 🛠️ Automation of outdoor cooling (sprinklers)
- 🛠️ Monitoring of the water levels in the water tank
- 🛠️ Integration with Photovoltaic System to manage power store it in hot water/batteries or sell it
- ✅ Monitoring of the power consumption per different systems (water heating, thermal pump, ...)
- 🛠️ Weather station to provide information for system to protect house (raise shadings up in the storm) and for watering system
- ✅ Safety rules to turn off the forgotten stuff on (heating in bathrooms, ...)
- ✅ Smoke detectors will not just to scream but also send notifications to the mobile app and potentially escalate
- 🛠️ Outdoor cameras
- ✅ Window open/close monitoring
- 🛠️ Alerting for windows open in case of storm
- 🛠️ Automation door lock with bell + maybe NFC and chip implant in hand to open it
- 🛠️ Sound system
Ideas:
- 💡Sell electricity from Photovoltaic directly to my neighbor for Bitcoin (to heat his hot water tank)
- 💡Automation of small indoor hydroponic system for winter and outdoor bigger one for the season
- 💡❓Integrate with first response agency in case of security alarm or fire emergency.
- 💡❓Indoor cameras (stairs, walkways, ..), but there is privacy concern
- 💡 Integration with robotic vacuum cleaner (I want to try Valetudo open-source software)
- 💡 Integration with robotic lawnmower
Do you have any other cool ideas and use-cases? Best will be rewarded⚡.
Are you interested in more details? Plans, wiring, programming and photos? ⚡
Maybe it's mean, but I hope you stay banned forever so you can focus on growing your presence here on Nostr.
We are all. Nostriches now. Welcome.
I don't understand why there are still people wasting their time to implement anything with Bitcoin for iOS.
Apple will kill it sooner or later. Bitcoin/Lightning is direct ApplePay competitor. Because Apple cannot be better then Bitcoin, they will make everything possible to be the only. And they will, because they control the environment.
Wake up. Stop washing your time on this.
Btw ever time I try PWA user experience is really bad.
Not true. I saw many install stuff from TestFlight.
nostr:npub1m2mvvpjugwdehtaskrcl7ksvdqnnhnjur9v6g9v266nss504q7mqvlr8p9 any thoughts? Given the nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 situation?
If you are kicked out of Google's Play Store you lose users.
If you are kicked out of Aplles's App Store you don't have the app.
This is the key difference.
What? Try to develop and distribute some app on IOS and Android.
I can ship APK here and now for everyone to download and use.
To ship on iOS you need permission from the gatekeeper.
This is HUGE difference.
Android Is open, I can write app and distribute it over F-Droid or just as signed APK over GitHub. For free and now. You can't do this on iPhone
This is all what matters. I didn't presented argument about size or network affect. Your comment on it is irelevant.
I stated that Apples ecosystem is closed. Which is simply true. Android is open. Yes, you have to do same extra effort to replace Google servicies (foreground service with sticky notification for delivering of the push notification, for example), but you CAN.
On iOS you CANT.
It's simple as that.
Yes, this is just a funny stuff, but it's a peace to the puzzle.
Of course, the deal breaker is the closeness of the iOS system, with Apple as it's gatekeeper.
This is hilarious. I will definitely save this for "next time" when some iSheep starts to tell me how Apple ecosystem is superior to Linux/Android.
Pedro Gonzales Alvarez from Panama City approves.
Beside Panama, some US states works as well.
