GOOD MORNING 🫡 captain my captain
Daily Roman History:
During the Punic wars a Roman Commander promised his men extra food rations for every Carthaginian head brought back. The soliders, wishing to get the reward, began collecting so many heads that they began to be weighed down and give ground to the enemy. The commander, realising his folly, said to get the reward they'd have to actually WIN the battle, and every man would get extra rations. Thus, unencumbered, the Romans went on to win the battle and have some extra grub afterwards. #Rome #history

I agree. I’ve been saying this to all my friends. Nostr just needs users and content. Hence why I’m posting about birds and Roman history 😂

I wouldn’t be shocked if the suits think the halving is a sell the news event.
Daily Roman History:
Triumphs were Military parades held to honor achievements on the battlefield. They were the peak to most Roman Generals careers and legitimate ones were only given out once or twice a generations. To help prevent a swollen ego of the person celebrating an interesting feature was added; a slave would be next to the General and whisper in their ear "Remember, you are mortal"
GOOD MORNING 🌞 I’m doing my best every single day to onboard as many normies as I can to the freedom tech movement.
It’s incredible!!! Merlin Bird ID is also a really fun bird app.
You are correct! I’ve gotten more into birds over the recent years from playing the board game Wingspan 😂
Good morning ☀️ Nostr gang!

To lift the siege of Constantinople in 1453, which was prolonged due to the formidable Theodosian Walls safeguarding the city, the Ottoman Empire deployed the largest cannon of its time – the third largest in terms of caliber ever recorded – to breach the city's defenses. nostr:npub12rzunrxvx89f78h4df284lzvkjqetljkq0200p62ygwmjevx0j8qhehrv9

O’Dell behaviour is something to aspire to. He practices what he preaches which is rare.
