One needs to kiss her to wake her up, but that in turn would change him forever. None, but speakers of English with Slavic background, can understand it better.
I used books of [LLS](https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leon_Leszek_Szkutnik) while in high school. I rejected compulsory Russian as my primary foreign language at [_Matura_](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matura) exams and went for English. It might be worth to mention that one of my parents is from behind the [Curzon Line](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curzon_Line), from the area very much like a multicultural pot, and I was fluent in Russian as a kid.
