Unless it’s 13:37 or Moscow time I don’t look at clocks!

Snarks use a lot space, I’ll have to read again and see how starks are doing in that aspect. But yea, strakware definitely cool, removing the shitcoinery would be icing on the cake šŸŽ‚

Thoughts?

Rather than jpegs, you can use the same inscription technique to store L2 proofs. Starkware does very interesting cryptography for zero knowledge. I didn’t really read it through but if you only commit the proof of the L2 block, I find it interesting. The difference with liquid would be that there’s no federation to trust. In this L2 you can have confidentiality and all other sort of rules.

Well, at least it’s better than jpges

Pulling weights and fasting don’t really go together though!

But then you’d need a trip to the hardware wallet every time you sign a note, a zap, etc.. in theory you can do it, in practice it looks like there would be a lot of friction

ā€œThe temptation of third party custodyā€

A classic theme of the late XVI and XVII century here demonstrated in the rendition by Bruegel the Elder.

The #bitcoiner appears both at the center of the scene and in the top right.

At the center he is encircled by various demons whispering in his ears ā€œyou’ll loose the keyā€, ā€œit’s too difficult for youā€, ā€œlet us have your cornā€

From the left, a parade of crypto influencers push their way in to sponsor their referral links. From the top and bottom, an army of little grotesques, typical of Bosch’s influence, swarms and sings shitcoinery hymns ā€œapy, basically risk free, deposit with us!ā€

Finally, in the top right, the Bitcoiner is ascending toward the righteous self custody while flying demons of failed hard forks torment his way.

I was implying rgb had a very bad developer experience, which, in my opinion, was the limiting factor for adoption

That’s along the lines of: keep implementation clean and simple, number of lines of code *is* relevant (from the opener)

Nope, until 6 months ago rgb was completely unusable, documentation all over the place, 10000 containers, cryptic code base, in fact, in my opinion rgb didn’t really take off because it had a bad developer experience (like really bad)

I have much better expectations for taro!

PS: in the last 6 months there has been a push by bitfinex to revamp and cleanup rgb, let’s see how they do!

6x6x110 kg, dusting off the rust, then some more back, suggestions welcome!

Looks like a good day to take some sun, write code and lift weights! LFG

A relay can decide not to forward notes from a user, this is already possible, the question is why should all relays do the same?

The huge difference is that Twitter is sort of a single relay, so once you are banned there you are 100% banned. You can attach to as many relay as you like, unless they’ll all ban you your notes will get through
