NOSTR is a work in progress. I love this raw kinda IRC/dial up internet feel. Things change on a daily basis. NOSTR is agile and nimble yet sure footed as a mountain goat.
Some complain of the UX issues. Some complain of the spam.
But let's rejoice the good and see the glass half full. This is fantastic to see the evolution on a daily basis. Both on a technical level and community level. Creators are working super hard and the collective community is putting a lot of mental energy into the system.
Bullish on the future.
Is there any other type of phone?
Depends on 2 things for me
1) quality/value
2) integrity of person providing it.
2 extremes:
a) a life coach selling help!! I'd head for the hills in most cases as for me most of the information they sell is quite obvious to me.
b) #[2] providing his owm thoughts on bitcoin. Clearly his thoughts aren't the same as what you get on wikipedia. I'd pay (and have bought his book) for his knowledge. Quality/value is high and he has integrity (he goes to many conferences and doesn't charge speaking fees etc. He is in it for the world).
Information isn't information in this crazy world.
All you really need to know in life. Why isn't it taught in schools!?

I would recommend a glass of chill out!! The important part is the vision and intent of the nostr protocol/community.
If we all expect 100% perfect UX then yeah twitter or other apps may provide a better experience. But what is the real cost??
I liken it to travelling business class on a 3 hour flight. Are humans that weak if we can't handle a little discomfort for a few hrs.

I'd actually argue we had censorship. In a softer form but def censorship. Shadow banning is censorship no doubt
