This is seriously the way and I may follow suit. Way too much distraction being connected all the time especially with my phone.
Nostr has seriously rejuvenated my excitement with social media with all the work being done and the quick advancements but I'm also realizing I'm spending more and more time in front of a screen rather than in real life.
A life/technology balance check is in order for myself.
I learned a lot about the fediverse after watching this video and all I can say is thank god for Nostr.
Mastadon and etc in the fediverse seems like a bunch of tribes that will just end up in echo chambers governed by their warlords that set the rules for their people to follow.
I prefer the pure freedom of Nostr. I may not like what everyone says or does on Nostr but I respect the freedom they have to express themselves however they want.

Anyone can choose who they want to be but there are consequences with every decision.
I use Primal on desktop mainly. Tried numerous others like Snort, Iris, Satellite, Coracle. I keep going back to Primal.
For Android I use Amethyst only. Haven't seen any reason personally to try others as of yet.
