Stumbling around

No argument there, you've got to be located someplace. The question is, if there exists a form of property that is 100% moveable, which one will win in the long run in terms of storing wealth?

I see plenty of takes that I strongly disagree with on #nostr, and while they annoy me, I feel overjoyed because I know that free speech is succeeding

Do you think the existence of #nostr will have game-theoretic effect on closed platforms, to be less restrictive in their speech policing, because their users now have the option to switch to Nostr at any point?

What are you backed by?

Do you need SSD for a bitcoin node? Nearly all of the data is only written once and never read again, right?

If humans had not gone to the moon yet, and nasa proposed a program for a manned lunar mission, half the internet would call it a scam

Saylor's argument is that real estate is "impairable". Since you can't move it to another jurisdiction it is more firmly beholden to local laws, and those can always be changed, to extract heavy tax from land owners for example.

As you mentioned in recent notes, such a development is not unlikely, since young people who mostly own nothing (and won't be happy) will perceive an incentive to vote for such redistributionist legislation

an easy first step would be to not include a note in any hashtag stream if it has more than 3 hashtags

Is infrastructure like rail, ports etc. critical for the high-tech sector? I see how that is required for shipping large volumes of bulky plastic toys, but how much transport infrastructure do you really need to ship a million iPhones per week? Seems like that main limiting factor would be high quality fabs and skilled labor. (But I'm happy to learn, I don't claim to know anything about this)
