fed fud. you could tie everyone on nostr to a tree and be likely to get something out of it. dude made himself a target after flexing on Instagram, most likely
So many bag holders of US debt. We’re all doing our part to spread the message, but the mountain of ignorance is intimidating.

I would love a feature where I could listen to all of the music people are currently listening to from people I follow. We have the track title via music statuses, just not sure how I would get access to the audio streams. Maybe via tidal somehow? nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m #musicstr
Instagram has this feature: music statuses. Even clips of the audio would be fine.
easier to just ask from time to time 😄
I’d still be depressed if I did not know about #bitcoin, #nostr, and #ecash
The world’s a dark place without these cypherpunk technologies.
Tell your friends and family what you know. You never know who will find purpose, hope, or something they love to do in this community and tech stack.
Keeping bots in mind, the usage counts are never known anywhere. Dead internet 🙂
twitter is such a pain to view after you’re used to no logins on nostr.
link opens in browser of the twitter app 🤦♂️

Will be interesting to see what this means for web scraping and training AI doubles of us. #nostr is the public dataset, while legacy social has landlords.

If you want more places to accept Bitcoin, you’ll likely have to be the one to bring them the point-of-sale device and stickers.
If they can’t accept it without orange-pilling 20 layers of management above them, maybe it’s time to shop elsewhere.
Enhance your own places, or move somewhere else.
I’ll likely want to rotate this nostr key pair in the future. Is there any key revocation mechanism? Superseding?
Or will I have to keep reposting with these keys until the followers move over?
ChatGPT:
“Nostr doesn’t natively support key revocation or superseding for key pairs, so rotating keys can be a bit challenging. Here’s a rundown of your options:
1. Reposting with Both Keys (Manual Migration): You’d typically post messages from the new key announcing the change and keep reposting or cross-posting with both the old and new keys until followers move over to the new one. This does mean some manual effort to guide your followers to follow the new key.
2. Delegation: Nostr introduced a delegation mechanism, where you can use your original private key to sign a delegation statement authorizing another key (e.g., your new key) to post on your behalf. This helps establish continuity without requiring your followers to switch keys immediately. Delegation is helpful, but it still requires the clients to interpret and respect the delegation statements.
3. External Solution for Trust Linking: Some people use an external platform (like a website or another verified profile) to post their current Nostr public key. This can help if your followers are looking for updates, but it’s still an extra step.
In summary, there’s no revocation or automatic superseding, so for now, a delegation or manual migration approach is the best workaround.”

the #taxationistheft community could be of use. It’s a numbers game when trying to combat these hostile policies. We’ll need more people than just #bitcoiners
Probably nothing leaves more of a “digital trail” than being into privacy tech. Glad to see it’s a hobby of more people each year
now we can watch YouTube anonymously, making all those feds interested in us feel defeated 😂
"Years ago i had a conversation with Daniel about implementing the possibility to change the IMEI of the device. He is of course aware about the privacy impact a non changeable identifier as the IMEI has. But there is nothing we could do about this. Neither the hardware provides the possibility to do that nor the law allows it. With the exception Africa. This is the only continent where it is explicitly allowed."
They say you're not allowed to change a number stored in a device that you own 🤣
https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/5126-imei-and-geolocation-tracking/6
you are also not provided specs of the chips that make up said device for “security by obscurity” reasons 🙂
a number is of minor concern
