Actually, web development got a lot less broken when we didn't have to support Internet Explorer 7 anymore. Now it's Safari on iOS that's making most trouble.

Maybe. But even though: My feeling is that monopolies or skewed market environments could not be prevented, even under a Bitcoin standard.
I think the world has seen often enough that those systems that are usually called communism don't work.
Anyhow, I can see problems in pure capitalism as well as I can see them in pure communism. I'm not convinced that disadvantaged people would make ends meet in a pure capitalistic (maybe even anarchistic) system. That's why I'm still for social structures embedded in a capitalistic framework.
