I felt this a lot between last year and earlier this year. I’ve come to lean more towards the later. Deleting Twitter was a big step. There’s a lot of fear porn on there. I noticed my friends who weren’t in the weeds of what was going on were much happier. Ignorance is bliss (to a point).

Using publicly traded stocks as a way to store wealth doesn’t totally make sense to me. Hear me out. A company posts earnings. People will bid to buy or sell the stock based on performance. The trading of these shares does absolutely nothing to the bottom line of the company. The company can only use the stock price to sell shares in order to raise capital or buy shares back to increase stock price and pump C-Suite bags. Buy stocks sounds a lot like trading altcoins.

Finally deleted Twitter. This is less about Elon Musk and more about living in real life. I kind of enjoy how small nostr is. My feed doesn’t suck me in forever. I can breeze through my entire feed within a couple minutes. I truly believe if I need to know something God will put it in my path.

Hevel, hevel, everything is utterly hevel.

I have no problem with Bitcoin conversations on here. I would just like more of a variety of topics. That’s why I keep my Twitter account. I’ve tried to get more conversations going on here about topics I enjoy (I.e. sports, architecture, religion/philosophy) and they usually fizzle out.

Users talking about other topics other than Bitcoin.

Very important. Bitcoiners still need to be productive in society. It’s not just buy some Bitcoin and do nothing the rest of your life. I think there’s a large group that fall under that category.

Love seeing the post draft grades before these guys ever play a snap. Journalists who’ve never played a second of football think they have a better eye for talent than an NFL scout
