(1) Jocko - constantly harps on short term physical pain for long term gain

(2) Piper - constantly hammers home the message that we just forgo earthly pleasures for a much greater glory

(3) Preston Pysh - really pick the bitcoin podcast of your choice, but teaching financial discipline. “Live like no one else now, so you don’t have to live like everyone else later” (prior to bitcoin, I would recommend Dave Ramsey)

There’s definitely more polishing that needs to be done, but that is to be expected when developers aren’t backed by venture capital. A lot of developers building Nostr apps could be making more money working on other things. Just the nature of the beast. However I think the way Nostr is designed, it’s built for the long road. Similar to Bitcoin, things were very janky at first (and still are to an extent), but the value proposition long term is much greater. Part of me enjoys the unpolished nature of Nostr apps. It keeps me from doom scrolling.

It's easy to be correct about things like bitcoin or the mRNA shots because so many people are bribed not to see what’s in front of their faces.

Much harder to be correct when predicting sports outcomes as the market is much smarter and less biased.

Possible edge IMO comes from observing the problem — Team X plays Team Y, considering it and then forgetting about it. Come back to it a couple days later. Often you will know what side you feel strongly about. (Provided you have sufficient experience picking games.)
