More corn for the plebs.
Goes hard.
On second thought. Miss me with Kwanzaa as well.
My “Holiday Cards” will always say “Merry Christmas”. Feel free to send me a “Hanukkah”, “Kwanzaa”, or whatever you celebrate card. I will gladly display it in my house next to all the other cards I receive. I celebrate Christmas.
And miss me with the X-Mas.
During the early church times (Paul forming the church), Christians weren’t considered Christians until they spent 3 years studying and following the Gospel. Kind of reminds me of the 4 years for a bitcoiner to earn their stripes. Both require maximum conviction.

This is the one I have. If I am to look for a denomination for Biblical interpretations, I generally look towards the Orthodox
I have an Orthodox Study Bible in New King James Version (although I prefer ESV on my Bible app as I’m usually on the go). I enjoy the commentary but I keep in mind they aren’t the “end all be all” to interpret the Bible. The pages are definitely slim but I think most bibles are. I’ve been thinking a box set of each book in its own individual binding would be great so that the pages could be a little thicker without making the Bible gigantic.
#Bible question - which is correct? These two versions have entirely different meanings.

Yes, I have a study bible, but its footnotes are useless.
I'm literally on the verge of throwing out my NIV Bible.

Decent write up on the difference.

There’s always going to be some differences in translation. Personally I like ESV the best. But i find it very useful and important to compare across different translations. The only way to get around the differences is to learn Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.
As for what the correct translation is, maybe it’s both. The Kingdom of God is everywhere. I.e in your midst and within you.

I know what you mean. I used to do this too. There’s lot of “Christians” who have done evil as well. At the end of the day humans are inclined to sin no matter what the religious/ethnic background.
