Done right, a break from work recharges the batteries for more productive work later.

I had a similar realization this year when I was working on my birthday. My wife and I aren't doing that anymore starting next year. We are spending those days together and we aren't asking anyone's permission.

That's what freedom is to me.

Work on yourself. Kettlebells, running, compound exercises, walking. The Sabbath can still be a day of progress.
