Christian, Bible Reader, Bitcoiner, Father, and many other hats. Read The Bible 👇🏻 https://www.thebiblerecap.com/start

In attempt to connect with the divine (God) people will drink ayahuasca, burn different incense, play with gongs, perform various chants, etc. when all they need to do is read the Bible and go to church.

Agreed. Luckily nothing needs to be submitted. Just a time stamp on a document. Took care of my stuff this morning. Who knows if I’ll ever need to use it. Hopefully not

I just finished my first complete run through The Holy Bible. It was definitely a grind, but very rewarding. This plan I followed has a 10-20minute read every day, with a podcast episode that reviews the days reading. Tara-Leigh Cobble does a great job of provide context and nuance to each reading. I didn’t agree with everything she said, but that’s okay - I’d be worried if I did. If anyone has ever wanted to read the entire Bible cover to cover I highly recommend this plan. God Bless. I’m going to do it again in 2025.

I finished the The Bible Recap With Tara-Leigh Cobble Bible reading plan from @YouVersion! Check it out here: https://www.bible.com/en/reading-plans/42399

When you have a kid you’ll find out.

I also went to college with individuals who graduated that had no business graduating. It’s a bad look for a college to not pass someone. And if people are paying a lot of money to go there, then just give them the degree.

Reading “The Blocksize War”

One red flag about this whole IRS reporting before 2025: how would anyone know to do this without social media. I only found out about this via NOSTR. Shouldn’t the IRS directly communicate with people that this is a new law. Something feels off here.

Sorry to hear that mate.

Recommend checking out https://kycnot.me/ for DEXs.

Bisq is a good one.

Also use tor, or Mullvad VPN 👍.

It's not your money if it can be taxed.

Thanks

What I understand there’s no formal document. But you need to make something like an excel file which shows the cost basis of your bitcoin, and how you plan on taxing it in the future (I.e FIFO or HIFO). And then you time stamp it with something like https://opentimestamps.org

You don’t need to submit anything, but if the IRS comes knocking in the future you have this document with a time stamp.

This was a good video on the subject.

Good luck. I’ll be doing this Monday.

Very important video for this last minute curveball the IRS put on bitcoiners. It’s not as scary as it seems, but everyone with KYC coins needs to do a little work before 2025.
