When you start to understand that money is stored energy, you begin to get why the Fiat system is so flawed and why fixes this.
If money is stored energy, it means it’s like a battery. You want that battery to lose as little energy as possible through time. Central bankers want the battery to lose 2% of its energy yearly. This is a made up number with no factual reason behind and it essentially means that they think stealing 2% of your hard earned energy is okay.
Now, this is why Bitcoin with its absolute scarcity is such a turnaround, not just for individuals, but for everyone within the network. No one can take your energy, and for the first time in history, all your energy can be stored in your mind, making it impossible for anyone to capture your energy, without providing you something of value.
We are living in a truly amazing time where we get to experience this silent revolution.
In that sense I would rather say you’re forced to use the fiat system, since there haven’t been an alternative and still isn’t in many areas. I still cannot get paid in bitcoin nor can I pay my bills or groceries in bitcoin.
So I am forced to use the fiat system still. However, all Bitcoin need is time.
I think this is quite opposite. Eventually you’d grow disgusted at the Fiat system and Bitcoin will silently make you addicted. At least this is what happened to me the last couple of years.

Is it necessary? No.
Bitcoin doesn’t care if it is legal tender or not. Everyone can freely chose Bitcoin. It will be there waiting for them.
