It's also not fair to say that "Nostr basically re-discovers SSB" since fiatjaf considered but decided against building on on Secure Scuttlebutt

Nostr relays are crucial to both discoverability and censorship-resistence. Besides, Nostr is an open protocol that clients and relays can evolve together

Hadn't heard of Rostra before, but if its "discoverability story is bleak" then having a "cool tech stack" won't cut it

I keep calling nostr "decentralized" social media when I explain it to laypeople, when it would be better to say "censorship-resistant"

The Diamond Sutra, an important Buddhist teaching, is the earliest known text with a public domain dedication, "for universal free distribution"

I looked into it, using nak (fiatjaf’s CLI) to find all kind:9321 events (aka “nutzaps”) sent to my npub from Olas. They’re there! Reading NIP-61, the client (in this case Olas?) is supposed to swap the tokens into the user’s wallet. Not sure where the disconnect is. Oh well!

I used nak to look up all 9321 kind events (“nutzaps”) tagging me from #olas. I can see them but I have no idea how to redeem them. #asknostr

Imagine zapping a note but later the OP broadcasts a delete event for it
