It means admitting your understanding of the world and money has been wrong, which is emotionally painful for most, (all learning involves the pain of being wrong), and also knowing they had heard about bitcoin years ago but didn’t do the work to understand it means there is pain of lost opportunity and that’s a hard thing to accept. Had they done the work to understand it earlier, they could have retired by now.
Annoying that #Bitcoin twitter seems adjacent to conspiracy twitter, flat earth twitter, lizard people twitter. Like, I agree the government is corrupt, but I love bitcoin because it puts me more in touch with reality (not less) and removes distortion in the money.

Anyone else find themselves going back to #twitter for how passive the feed curation is? I hate that I am doing this, but I’m addicted to being fed content, and on #Nostr it’s up to me to curate my feed.
I WANT to take a more active role in curating the content that I am consuming, but I guess the algos have made me lazy.

Nah man - have you actually tried VR? For me, someone who lives on the other side of the world from my family, telepresence (the feeling of being in the same room as someone) is immensely valuable. Not a dumb future - it’s one I welcome. I love that I can play mini golf with my brother and it feels like we are together.
