Well..didn't get much done today other than my rehab exercises and the rehab appointment..I am going to try to get out to the beach tomorrow and get a swim in... having cocktails tonight so I'm going to and the entertainment will be a Korean show over on netflix to start at 7 then on to "Strange New Worlds" and then "Foundation"..that will get me back to a semi normal night..Have four more rehab dates before I leave for the UK but one of them is on top of a zoom meeting I have with U of M

Well...I just watched the last hour and a half of the "Sense8" final and it is such a celebration of the varieties of humans whether gay, straight, trans, bi, or anything else...we are humans....and I shed a tear at Amanita and Nomi's wedding at the Eiffel tower where they pledged their love for each other...okay, I'm a romantic....and I'm not going to apologize for it...a good night tonight...art has a way to change us and the Wachowskis did it with "Sense8"

Well...running about on time this morning with getting out of bed around 6 and trying to get the first cup of coffee in me...it's going to be a little busy today with mowing the lawn and attempting to use the string trimmer...it's been a month since the surgery and I'm not sure if I'm healed enough for it but we'll see...need to get the first set of exercises done before the lawn but I'm not ready for that yet...need to ease into it this morning and have more coffee...good morning!

Well...man, having a hard time getting going today and I know it's from getting old and I don't like it one bit...have the first rehab appointment this morning at 10 and I need to dig up some energy for that...probably should take another walk when I get back and I think I will....really do need to get into shape for the trip and I'm itching to get back on the bike...think I need to eat more even though I'm not getting a lot of exercise...need to figure that out...good morning!

Well..okay, I surrender..Man U plays in about 15 minutes and I think I'm going to watch it from the prone position on the couch..they play Spurs today and Man U needs to be much better than last week when they beat Wolves 1-0 but didn't look convincing at all...I have to remember to take my Man U gear with me so I can wear it when I get to Manchester....so I need to refill the water bottle and put some ice in so I can get through the entire match...Go Red Devils!

Well...I still marvel at how I keep turning planned easy days into ones that are full of work...I was going to just run the errand this morning to get the dirt and pretzels but when I got back here I felt good so I got the seed and soil on the front yard...and then I noticed that the weeds were encroaching on the yard again, so I did the weed walk...and at 1pm I noticed I had an hour before soccer so I get the mower out and mowed the lawn..and I now have a 9am meeting with the nurse...

Well...it was a good but easy day today and I got a few things done so that is cool...got a phone call from my health insurer this morning trying to sign me up for Medicaid to go with my Medicare and I wonder if it was that they are getting ready to send me the 5K bill for my surgery and think I can't afford it...make too much on SS to qualify so I just hung up at the 15th prompt..back to "Sense8" for the first show tonight and may just do what I did last night...good evening! Manhattans!

Well...it's still cool out here with rain showers but that didn't stop me from harvesting the last of the broccoli and a couple of beans that I am going to steam for lunch...my daughter bought me some chicken and apple sausages that I am curious to try and that may be the second part of lunch that I can have with the pickles and pickled red onions that I made Thursday...still need to eat more than I have been since my face is still way too thin...not a problem I've ever had before...

Well..had a nice night last night and had a few cocktails and I feel okay this morning after the first cup of coffee..bailed on "Svengoolie" last night and went back to "Sense8" and the scene between Leto and Nomi at the Diego Rivera museum reminded me why I love that show..feelings that I longed for such a long time...not sure what today is going to be..the MotoGP race is on right now and there may be some soccer later...and the Indycar and Nascar race are on this aft..good morning!
