On the debate stage tonight they all missed the number one theme that is driving the decline of the American empire. Debt and bad money that is tearing apart the fabric of our society. Equally causative is our monopoly on violence and the ability to bully all the other nations of the world to our political ends. Unless we reverse course and actually decentralize the power structure of this country, we are certainly doomed. Our borders are a mess, drugs, homeless, mental illness, failed rule of law, politicized and weaponized bureaucracies, a failed education system, inflation among many other ailments are the symptoms of the disease of the fiat standard. It's fucking up this country, the world and leaving our own citizens hopeless. Fix the money-fix the world.
Boom. My new book, Broken Money, is now available on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CG83QBJ6
I will formally announce it later today, so I guess this is the initial Nostr exclusive. It’s not even searchable on Amazon yet since it is still being incorporated into their wider database. But if you have that link, it is ready for purchase.
The ebook, audiobook, and other print distribution partners will be rolled out over time.
Thank you everyone for your support! This has been a wonderful project to work on, and it will hopefully educate more people about the current problems in the global monetary system and the solutions that Bitcoin has to offer people around the world.
Thanks for your hard work. The book is on its way to my doorstep.
Thanks for the shout out. @stuart bowman is a brilliant engineer and developer. He's about to blow minds with what he has in development now. He is targeting release of his next phase before Nostrasia. Now he's gonna beat me over the head for saying that much! I just turned up the heat to make sure he gets the project nailed down on time. Can you send him an engineer to help him hack out all the code? The dude is getting arthritic doing it all on his own. I'm guessing he wouldn't be making such progress if it wasn't for a little $ support from people who know him and believe in his vision. Thank God for Opensats grants and others helping him financially. Satellite has the bones of something really remarkable.
1) decentralized signal getting broadcast without interference from algorithms
2) NOSTR is still too early in it's development for most non-techies to make use of much of the protocol. UX needs less friction.
3) I think my first npub was created in March 2023
4) I use Satellite.Earth and Amethyst. I like Satellite Best
5) I struggled getting media uploaded... Finding other users who I want to follow without picking random people who post. There are many people I would still like to find here.
6) Still having trouble with media uploads. I want to see a schedule of events on plebchain radio, NOSTR nests etc. So i can tune into things of interest.
Thanks for asking.

Golden hour in Idaho panhandle.
Someone recently posted a YouTube video addressing transaction fees in the base later. They did a thought experiment and the math on hundreds of millions of BTC users in the future competing for on chain settlements. The gist of it was that there is finite block space, finite transactions per unit time, and that fees will inevitably be cost prohibitive except for the largest transactions. The math is easy enough to understand for how many layer one settlements can be done in a given year based on protocol limitations.
The speculation is that fees will approach five figures as more adoption occurs. Have any of you ever gone down that rabbit hole to look at that possibility? It's one of my worries for the long term success of this technology. What say you?
Throw some vitamin B on them. Helps the root shock after transplant.
There is a glitch in the matrix.... This post is on my feed over 25 times in a row.
Satellite.earth NOSTR client has launched "Communities" like Reddit's subreddit structure. Now you can curate the content you actually have interest in reading. Kudos to Stuart Bowman for the effort. This should make the client more useful and compete well with others. Check it out.

Testing media. This was my ride.
I'm all for free speech. For every right there is a responsibility. This reads as hate and irresponsible. I get the sentiment but I disagree with your targeted demographic. You are invited to learn about the Tytler cycle. There are forces at play that goes beyond demonizing a single ethnic group as the sole culprit for our societal collapse.
I know him well. He's a great speaker and articulates complexity well. I find him to be as brilliant and creative and diligent as they come.
According to Alexander Tytler all societies go through an evolutionary cycle. It goes like this:
BONDAGE
SPIRITUAL FAITH
GREAT COURAGE
LIBERTY
ABUNDANCE
SELFISHNESS
APATHY
DEPENDENCE
BONDAGE
It's apparent that our world has moved into the apathy dependence stages. I'm wondering if Nostr and decentralized money get to win out and change the course of what would otherwise be inevitable. Do you think this technological leap forward is enough to change the course we are on? Disruptive technologies have a way of changing things in unimaginable directions. Are you optimistic that we will witness a course correction? Or do you think a return to bondage is inevitable?
Hey Gary. If you never exchange them for dollars it’s not a taxable event. I zap people, they zap me. The IRS knows nothing about peer2peer Bitcoin micro transactions. If the IRS wants to slave to collect $30 in taxes good luck 👍 🤣
#[3] you did me a solid. Thank you for the zap! It's official now. I'm now a full member of the Nostrich nest.
I plugged in lightning last night with a little help from a friend. I'm up and operational. Not bad for a luddite boomer. Who wants to send me my first ever zap? I have sent out my first ones and had success. This technology is amazing.
For any who missed this, this is sure to help you explain Nostr to your circle of friends. Andi did an excellent exposè with this piece she published on Egodeath capital blog. It's worth a read.
