After a brief conversation about #nostr with a normie-adjacent, I'm again thinking that a very helpful and needed tool to drive massive #normie adoption of #nostr is a (sadly) custodial web/app/service that takes care of onboarding for you. It keeps your keys, creates a #Lightning #Wallet for you, creates a #NIP05, and either connects you to, or directly acts as, a relay.
It risks a centralization tendency, but I sadly believe we're not gonna get your neighbour Karen and your grandma here otherwise.

I mostly used Obsidian for personal notes, but for work notes Logseq seems to fit better. I'm no power user, still adapting my workflow.
A massive bonus is that it is #FOSS

Is there any plan in order to manage Monero #blockchain size (not block)? The blockchain size would explode, were Monero to see massive adoption. Reading up on community proposed solutions I see a lot of mentions of cheapening storage and processing costs but the way I see it that's just kicking the problems ahead.
Would there be any way to "summarize" the Monero blockchain and "restart" it at a lower size? Maybe this compression could be done once a year or something, keeping archival nodes just in case.

Just as a general financial tip, if you plan on helping, be ready to not be repaid. It might come to either the money or your relationship, so go into it with the decision already made.

Are there any solutions (viable or theoretical) proposed for blockchain scalability issues? Aside from centralizing solutions such as L2 networks or pruned nodes supported by full nodes.
I'm guessing that a public blockchain such as #Bitcoin could theoretically be consolidated, fully "cleaned" and restarted, right?
What about private chains such as #Monero?
Were a blockchain to have to support the amount of transactions made by the banking system today, the chain would grow exponentially (not to speak if it completely replaced hard cash transactions as well), and betting all on storage cheapening in my precoiner mind does not cut it, altough I'm open to explanations.

The answer is pretty simple, although not easy - ghost guns.
The spread of 3d printing will continue facilitating that.
