GeForce now is a handy option for windows games, I tend to just sub for a month if there’s something I want to play, especially if pc isn’t up to spec for it or if just want to play on Mac if no native support.

Been playing some Satifactory since it hit 1.0 this week.
The Power Broker by Robert A Caro, really gave me insight into how the world works. A stunning read. Probably my favourite book of all time.
The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, all the evils of socialism laid bare.

I actually haven't tried the mobile app to thoroughly, initially it was just a sync from the web client and you couldn't do anything else. Pity about not being able to change search currently alright.
I'd say you're spot on in regards to your point about merger, that looks like what they are setting themselves up for.
Once you have it set up into different spaces it's hard to go back to a more traditional browser imo.

Switched to Arc about a year ago. Would find it hard to go back. Easily the most unique take on a browser in a long time with some great built in features.

Just from a local vertical, tech jobs are being decimated, there's certainly significant tightening happening in the industry. Certainly could be a number of factors, Covid over-hiring, integration of AI into support rolls and m&a.
