Removed some with little to no activity, but frankly I have no clue how to pick relays and I've little interest in learning how to do it. I just want to see posts of people I follow. Isn't it possible that my client checks where my network posts and subscribes there automatically?
My relays should be visible publicly on my profile, no?
So far I've had multiple (6-7) notes disappear on nostr. First they showed up, minutes later they were gone, not showing up in my profile, on various clients. One of them was a long form post that I had typed for 20 minutes.
Frustrating to say the least.

As a custodial service and regulated entity, there's not much they can do. Depending on where they're regulated, they might be able to allow certain limits without requiring full kyc.

Bitcoin is fine, nothing changed, but it seems I attributed a lot more intelligence to the leaders in this space than they deserve. "Leaders?" you may ask. Yes, there are no leaders in bitcoin, but there are in the Bitcoin Space, and I gave them way more credit than they deserve. Don't get fooled by fancy marketing friends. Keep your bullshit detectors fine-tuned and don't delude yourself with wishful thinking.

Non-custodial LN wallets like breez / phoenix have not figured out how to provide LN address yet, due to async problem
It's not only zaps that favor custodial wallets, It's also LN Address that's not solved for non-custodial mobile ln.
However my question was about closed source vs open source wallets.
