My BIL is a welder, I might be able to convince him. What is the hourly rates for a welder who is worth their salt? I know it's going to vary based on experience and region, and I don't want to low-ball him an offer for his time.

I'm on my first build, it's been a lot of fun. Detent pin flew across the room twice, spent 4 of 6 hours just watching YouTube tutorial videos.
So far so good!
Another couple of weeks and I'll have it completely assembled. Optic will have to wait though, I'm perilously over budget 😬

I would highly recommend it. The taste is mild and pleasant, and it gives the coffee a little more staying power to get me through the morning.
He is, like most grifters, gifted in the art of storytelling. But that's all he really offers - narratives that look shiny and fool the gullible, but the second you look more deeply at what he's offering the more it looks like snake oil.
I use a half teaspoon of coconut oil with my morning coffee for a little extra sustained energy. Bulletproof coffee is too rich for my taste but this is a happy medium.
