My paranoia and anxiety would go off the charts. I'd really rather not have that happen.
Slow grind upwards is better for my well-being 😂
Well shit, his argument is so compelling that I'm considering going back to being homeless /s
That took longer than I expected - damaged the ejector pin and had to order a replacement.
Build complete minus the optic that will need to wait a bit for. Everything is torqued to spec, staked, molly greased, loctited, etc. Only thing left to do is get the headspace checked.
This project was a blast, I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

His podcasts are a rare treat to binge on.
I have a FB post from 2013 declaring that Bitcoin is a scam 🤣🤣🤣
Thinking about printing it out and framing it as a reminder that there is a real cost to hubris.
Tha ks for all the replies and information, I will venture down the rabbit hole again 🫡
I am using Fedora, very easy to set-up and there is a range of Desktops you can choose from: https://www.fosslinux.com/49582/alternative-desktops-fedora-how-to-install-them.htm
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll give this a chance and see what I can do with it's never too late to make better decisions.
They are conditioned to think nothing is going to last long term unless it's already been around forever.
A friend of my new was legitimately surprised bitcoing was 'still a thing' when this recent price action put it back on his radar.
Maybe we need to focus more on stressing to normies that this is going to outlive all of us multiple times over.
That's exactly what I tried. I like it in theory, but it was an exercise in frustration.
I don't think he understands how much damage can be caused by product endorsements. Ledger has been giving red flags for years, everyone paying attention is not at all surprised by this turn.
I think abortion is deeply unethical, and should be considered an extreme action that is not undertaken lightly.
The fact that it's considered by many to be merely 'family planning', is a grotesque whitewashing of reality, but is also not justification to inject the government into the issue with edicts about what an individual can and can't do.
We need stronger community values to do the heavy lifting. Families should be policing this sort of thing with mores, not abdicating their role to courts and lawmakers.
I'm guilty of this. It's hard to break a 30 year habit when you know where everything is and how to troubleshoot effectively.
I love the idea of Linux but the learning curve was steep and I stopped trying. I need to do better.
Are there any Linux distros that mimic Windows UI? 😅
She has got to be the least competent propagandist I've ever seen 😂
Yes, torture is a way to obtain consent. But torture is messy and unpleasant business. No one is going to exert that level of effort unless they are sure of the outcome.
So store it in your head and keep your mouth shut.
They can't enforce a ban on knowledge. 'owning' Bitcoin is having the knowledge of a private key. If you know a particular 12 word sequence, how do they prove it, and how do they seize it if you do not consent?
Nothing is stopping them in theory.
In practice I would say that they realize that such an act is unenforceable and highlights how powerless they are to stop the protocol. It's better for them to capture and undermine it's usage than enact a ban that they can't enforce and will rile up the wrong kind of people.
