Not one person in my family has ever gotten the flu unless they got a flu shot first. The only one that had either was my grandmother. When she was in her sixties her doctor convinced her to get the shot & it made her feel awful. Probably worse than having the flu. So the next year she refused the shot & then got the flu.

I'm at the end where mostly I spend time regretting not having spent more time with them when they were younger. I feel like a terminal patient who knows his days are numbered & he can't even enjoy them as they are full of loss that hasn't even completely happened yet.
