Then you'll need a decent CPU chip and ram. Intel i5 minimum or equivalent. And 32 ram at least.

You can run a node off of far less power and function, but planning to have it last is likely a good call.

Yeah exactly. As a teacher in the system myself, I see some kids actually thrive. They genuinely like the structure of school learning. But it's a one size fits all. So many kids struggle. Learning is innate.

In my area there are quite a few alternative options to "the system": Nature schools, home school groups, self led schools, etc... which probablly helps find like minded people and community.
