Final result from this morning’s art lesson with the neighbor. Really like how it turned out. Having some instruction on how to use these watercolor markers made such a difference. Also more practice as it takes me a few times to get back into the Just Let It Flow mode of watercolor anything.

Using hot press paper worked well - I’d only really played with cold press before.

She’s letting me hang onto the markers until Thursday because her grandkids are coming over and she won’t have time to use them. She also gave me some art books she didn’t want anymore so I have lots to play with over the next few days. 🎉

Finally got the exact size I wanted for the single watch roll. 4”x16” duck canvas with a layer of wool felt for padding and cotton interior. 550 paracord wrap to secure the roll. Will easily fit standard size watches. Larger rolls can be made to order.
