Call them iPhones to dilute the brand and devalue the hardware.

Okay, here is how to fix the Damas/Apple issue:

1. Completely remove the ability to zap from Damas.

2. Show zap totals and the button, but have it give a message that the functionality is not available on iPhone due to Apple's policies.

3. Let end users sort it out.

If Apple bans Bitcopin and Nostr, mass adoption is impossible - mass adoption of iPhone. People will buy the phone that works best for what they want to do.

We DO NOT need Apple. Nintend, Sony and Microsoft sell their game consoles partly based on exclusive games. People will spend hundreds of dollars to get a console for a single game. The same will apply to phones and Nostr/Bitcoin. Especially when Android phones are 1/10th the price of Apple. Bitcoin is the ONLY reason I even own a smart phone.

Well, at least it's a benign post to learn this hard lesson with.

They also killed Flash. Remember all the cool Flash animations and games on the web? They're all gone now because of Apple. If you give them your money, you deserve what you get.

Cypherpunks don't eat the bugs, they fix them.

Climate change causes inflation -> Inflation is caused by people demanding raises -> politicians always give themselves raises -> Politicians cause climate change.

Alert Gretta!

Bitcoin Blows?

Or Bitcoiners don't know that N64 carts have gold plated contacts?

By accepting the blue check, you are becomming a public figure and giving up your right to privcy. Don't use your real name on the Internet.

Hard disks are sold in fake GB/TB ( where 1 kb = 1,000 bytes instead of 1,024 bytes) so I'll use those numbers. Based on that screenshot, 1 zap uses around 1kb (1,000 bytes) of storage. 1GB = 1,000,000 KB. According to Backblaze (https://www.backblaze.com/blog/hard-drive-cost-per-gigabyte/) storage costs are around $0.015 per GB at the end of 2022. That works out to $0.015 / 1,000,000 KB = $0.0000000015 per KB or Zap. Moscow time (Satoshi per Dollar) is currently 3285, so the price of storage for zaps in sats is $0.000049275 per zap. This does not include the storage space for the lightning transaction itsels, however it's cheap enough that a single sat zap is economical in terms of storage.

TL;DR

Storage costs are negligable. Zap away!

The hot chick and cool sword is a good start, but the real question is how many houses will they give me for 1 BTC. 10 seems like a good number to me. What do you guys think?

I like the guy with the fake brain hat. That sums up crypto perfectly.

Oh, it does. I always ignore post that have outbound links but no hint as to what they are about.
