Another Crowdstrike issue or just general tech failure from Contour Airlines.... Still not signate, nothing on monitors for my #Countour flight. Just keep me guessing. #travel #airlines #ORD. No one wearing Contour Uniform.
So what gate am I flying out from??? The Uber driver never heard of Countour Airlines, Uber does not list it as a choice, I had to ask AI what terminal it flew out of and enter in another airlines terminal 3 as the destination, when arriving at the airport, and I told him I was flying with Contour, he kept insisting it was Spirit because I entered Spirit as a proxy. Finally we found the small Countour sign and off to check in.. No issues, no line 2 hours early, but I didn't notice no gate on boarding pass.... UGH. Tried to log on to contour on phone and computer was unable and upon entering in Confirmation number and name, still was unable to determine gate. Nothing on the terminal monitors. Expedia listedG15, still not convinced, I kept trying to confirm with airlines. G15 had a Cape Air Sign. None of the gates had Countour Sign. Finally an announcement... G14! Why does it have to be so complicated? If Expedia thought they knew, why would Countour not know...

Air travel has become so frustrating. Arrived at the airport early and wanted to go to the lounge. In Terminal 3 O'Hare in Chicago (a huge airport) no Priority Pass at this terminal or Centurion Lounges at all... Sure there are American Lounges, but I am not a member of these and not even flying on American. So there is a shuttle to Terminal 5 to get to the Priority Pass/Swiss Air lounge, but the shuttle doesn't start until 1130 from G17 area and I need a Passport and an international ticket to even get on the bus even after I have been screened by TSA. Maybe I could have gone out of security, taken another bus and tried to get through TSA at terminal 5 but without a Bording pass for a flight in Terminal 5 according to the American Employee, I would not be able to take the bus or get through TSA. So the only solution would be to buy a refundable ticket on a flight that left from Terminal 5, but without my passport, probably still would have been stuck and denied entry to terminal or bus. So the "Real ID" that I jumped through hoops to get is not so real. So sit and wait with limited access to outlets and 50 year old airport style chairs and no "free" food or beverages...n #ord #contour #airtravel #redtape #rules #TSA #hassle
