How you feel about yourself can also heavily impact how you are around others. If you’re feeling strong, confident, worthy of belonging, you can move through various circles with ease. You gain energy from the interactions. If your life is ruled by trouble, insecurity, shame, etc, it’s exhausting to put yourself out there. You can’t wait to go home.

Let me introduce you to my recently fired financial advisor

One can not be so back, if one is not over

In order to get Bitcoin Park, Florida-Georgia line had to break up. The nation will survive.

I was once told by my niece that I was confusing “bird chicken” with what she was eating, which was “food chicken”.

Boomer culture completely fetishized youth when they were young. Pop culture from their time was loaded with “We know better because we are young, and everything that was here before us is bad” messages. As they got older, they put a high value on showing that they were still young. In its cringey laughable forms, it’s basically Doctor Evil doing the Macarena (“I’m hip! I’m with it!”). It’s more nefarious effects included the Me Generation era of navel gazing and irresponsibly, where a parent could ditch their family to “find themselves” (ie, party and fuck) and not face public humiliation and ostracism. Most dangerous was the seemingly mundane aversion to committing to maturing on some level, and the desire to be forever cool.

You can not develop wisdom while preoccupied with being considered cool. You can not develop wisdom while making the whole world a stage for your inner child’s issues instead of desiring to become an adult.

All of this is a blanket statement for a generation, but you all know the kind of people I’m talking about.

Genie wish: Make fried chicken good for you

I don’t know what you call that move Stapp is doing, but I’m going to start doing it.
