Not because we can partially or temporarily overcome any emotion if we set our minds to it do we not have an increasing tendency to go mad and sick if we are restricted from being free by being made a slave. After subsistence, we equally need affection, understanding, participation, idleness, freedom, identity, creativity and protection or we will develop pathologies. These pathologies can manifest in many different forms but im all forms they will lead us to at least be burden to others at worst become destructive or self-destructive.
The best thing we can do to improve society is to raise awareness about this.

What most people in the know don't yet know is that BTC doesn't end corruption because wealth begets wealth and so money tends to concentrate in the hands of less and less people. The only way to truly protect the world from corruption is to truly decentralize power by freeing people from the need to earn money to survive, freeing people from the need to beat others to survive, freeing people from zero sum Moloch dynamics. If not we are all serving the powerful and the wealthy and the short term gain so as to get a head in the rat race.
Of course the only way to meet everyone's needs UNCONDITIONALLY without centralizing power is by raising awareness about the ways in which all of humanity's incentives are actually aligned in the long term, raising awareness about what humans fundamentally need to develop into helpful resilient members of society and facilitating the means by which everyone can VOLUNTARILY share and gift resources with everyone else so as to meet everyone's needs.
Absolutely, learning to simplify without forgetting it is a simplification is crucial so after so much complexity the conclusion is: Buy BTC, suspect that those with power want to oppress everyone to have more power, raise awareness about fundamental human needs so that everyone knows what our goal is.
Most posts I make on Nostr feel to some extent like a challenge. And I post them anyway. I enjoy that challenge. I write them in part *because* they are challenging.

That's why I'm here. I'm adding my thoughts to this medium to help advance it. I write here the things I wouldn't post to the normies on Twitter/X. Only on Nostr do I embrace my weirdness and inappropriateness. I analyzed this ecosystem, and decided that you, and only you, yes you reading this who took the time to be here, deserved to see my real or "based" thoughts to the extent that you care about them. And that includes my weaknesses. I've shown those in some of my recent posts, and I'll continue to show you my weaknesses here. I wrote about the times I got rekt in a fight and cried. I'll type that kind of thing out here, and only here, on Nostr, again and again.
If I post something intellectually polarizing I start to think, "what would my followers think?" But then I'm immediately like, "I don't know. Who cares. If they hate my truths here then were they even real my followers to begin with? Maybe they need to be challenged."
Meanwhile, I *do* care what you all think in aggregate, am willing to disagree with you individually on certain topics, but want to hear your thoughts. And I'm willing to change my views based on you. In fact, many of my Twitter/X posts are there over the past years because I want to see what people comment with before I write my full-on reports. The same is likely true for Nostr. This is raw ground. I want your thoughts. I won't bend my truths toward you, and I'll challenge you, as I expect you to challenge me.

Everyone human being has the same fundamental needs that if not satisfied will lead to pathologies. We often don't understand our needs but will likely become destructive or self-destructive in our blind effort to meet them. The most effective way to improve society is to raise awareness about them and strive to build a society that meets them all unconditionally.
