Not really.
Assembled can include or not include:
- soldering work of chips
- connecting components
- final assembly of enclosure
There are ways to have a very trust minimized supply chain. This is only possible with certain parts though and requires effort that most companies don’t want to go through
Proper supply chain integrity checking for parts being genuine is significantly more important than “assembled” in the USA.
Quantum teleportation over existing optical fibre infrastructure. I don’t really understand how this works or the implications but it seems like cool technology.

Sending half-processed qubits to other quantum computers, probably.
iOS: accesibility -> color filters
android should have the same
I call it a data interchange standard. Or a collection of rough data interchange standards
Nostr is inherently less censorship resistant than the Internet.
What’s this? 🤔
You can get it made and assembled in china for dirt cheap
depending on if that means “people don’t get paid but some parts of the government still works” or “complete shutdown”
new context dropped and it makes all assumptions in this post incorrect
this is why you don’t make statements on assumptions nostr:note1dl06hvzwze7amtudz2csc2qnszfxv6qve64q4rmedvwtgd98frpqd6j9vf
⚠️ You are likely to get scammed as this is effectively a similar scheme to “cloud mining”
There is no reason for the platform to not divert the hashrate themselves and profit from it, without selling it for cheaper, except to profit off of *you*, the bidder
As a miner, this also does not make sense, to not divert your hashrate at one pool and get specific agreements, instead of relying on unreliable bids nostr:note1fzfttwg9dr54ssjld57929lnh0w8mmcraygzccp2z5des3z4c9psjt44y2
Lemme rewrite that for the plebs reading the comments in this thread.
JOINSTR is COINJOIN OVER NOSTR
I know its confusing still for the non-technical plebs
, but evolutions will come soon. Pay attention to nostr:npub1v6qjdzkwgaydgxjvlnq7vsqxlwf4h0p4j7pt8ktprajd28r82tvs54nzyr
This page has several pieces of incorrect information
Tor is required if you cannot trust the relay, which is most likely the case
A mechanism without fidelity bonds would require you to tie your Nostr identity to your CJs as the fidelity bond (not preferable)
Everything eventually evolves into my channel spec 🤣
Still better.
satslink: coming in 2 weeks™️ (extended to 4 weeks) (extended to 6 months) (okay whatever it’s basically cancelled)
and with an underpowered CPU
fyi, half the hashtags no one cares about anymore (especially zbd ;)
Random thought: what if each device you use creates a device key, you then update a key list that you publish from your root key. Then giftwraps could send to each key on that list instead. nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z
If your root nsec leaks then your messages aren’t compromised? and you would never be copying around these keys so maybe they could be more resistant to people pasting them somewhere and leaking them.
You have issues with needing to send many giftwraps though… but maybe not an issue once inbox relays are more widely used.
that is also how most non-nostr e2e message encryption specs work, but also with FS
WARNING: Post-quantum signature algorithms are very experimental and get broken constantly. Not worth it yet. nostr:note1j2f7qy8tdhdm5t4nwnsqzlmg94kezpk048kj2pxnywgq9xp3nm8q7nrnz6
Okay wtf
