Hello from iris.to! I haven't used this client in a couple weeks. It's so damn smooth! The only thing it's missing is **image upload** and **Lightning support** on profiles and posts.

Have you got iris working with kiwi and nos2x? I can't seem to login with extension for some reason.

i'm using nostrgram right now and i can type entire sentences and see what i'm typing. on snort most of my text lags and i can't see what i type as i type it. i have to type a couple words and then wait for the UI to catch up.

I am not seeing any lag while typing a message.

It was much snappier until about 4 days ago. I like the UI enhancements, but being unable to type and having my text input freeze as I'm typing is not a good time.

I have been primarily using Snort and have not noticed this.

I think Nostr will naturally unleash market forces. A user will most likely have a choice to use a relay with a ToS or no ToS. Some users may not mind a one time fee but not like the idea of SATs for every event.

I think because of the bots we should implement relays which are paid ones. I mean let's make a voting system and each user deposits 10K SATs and if he or she uses the relay to spam with a voting (51%) he or she gets kicked and loses all the deposit. Idea? Or just simply one post = 1 sat fee. #plebschain

I like the idea of a one time fee and if you break the terms ToS you are done.

* Notes: Let me just say the UI on this is very odd. The Android maximalist on actually hates it. It's not Material or anything related to Android. It feels like a Windows application. That said, it actually works quite well, minus being able to use Lightning, send DMs, or edit Relays. It also supports multiple accounts, which is a nice bonus.

Thankfully we have some usable web clients.

I think this is a Derek problem. Clearing cache doesn't help. I just have too many DMs.

I have 4 DMs in total🤣. I can see that I have DMs in snort but they do not load.

Can anyone that uses Snort actually use it for DMs? I can't. I don't get notifications of new DMs, DM counts / unread counts aren't showing on the DM page nor on the notification icon, and most of my DMs don't render profile pics or names. I have no clue who most of those users are until I open the DM. Though, this could be a Derek problem with 200 or so DMs. I popped into Astral and had several DMs from the past 2 days that I didn't know I had while using Snort.

I can see that I have DMs but when I click on them they are forever loading.
