Hey, thank you for the feedback!!. Was trying to zap you here just to encourage you haha but seams you do not have a lighting address.
I saw the entire presentation on YouTube...the whole project and design it's awesome!! Know this kind of projects are hard to bootstrap, but your use case and most importantly the easy to use UI looks like a game changer. Hope you are able to build it and hopefully make a good business out of it too so you can sustain it.
I will definitely keep an eye on it.
Yes... this makes much sense for business that relay on visual. I can't imagine having my woodworking photos in the Twitter like clients...but a gallery like Olas, that's great. The beauty of nostr for sure.
It has me debating the whole algorithm addiction thesis... this is just as addictive and no algorithm at all.

Today is day 60 of using Qubes OS, and I really like it. I'm using it on my laptop as my daily driver, but my laptop has a sad 8GB of soldered RAM. Qubes OS is resource-hungry, so I can only run one or two qubes, and not very efficiently at all.
I'm extremely hesitant to install Qubes on my desktop, which is much more powerful, because of all the internal PCI configuration Qubes does. I'm sure I'll either lose access to my keyboard or graphics.
Any suggestions for alternatives? I want the same OS for both my desktop and laptop. I'm thinking of Pop!_OS. Any user feedback?
I'm trying to improve my privacy and learn more about Linux. I used Ubuntu for three years prior to this.

Or can I download code from repository and play with it already self hosting my self? (not too technical my self, but will love to give it a try). Having a GUI sounds very appealing to me π vs living in the terminal day by day.

GM! Just interested to know if this project is still going! thanks!

thanks! that was my understanding. Got confused by the OP, but mainly because all is very new to me. Trying to untangle all these concepts. π π«β‘οΈ
rookie question...what does media decentralized looks like? as you made the point to mention that, I am assuming blossom is not decentralized because it's hosted on a central server right? Just trying to understand.
as I am looking into blossom right now to host media...but I am guessing now that is on the way to dissappear then.
maybe my question does not make sense...if so just ignore.
GM!
You are a great reminder to all of us, to use btc and nostr with real life use cases! keep going!
So far...
nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqydhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnndd5hgum09e382umfdejhxucqyqhgss9wrqs2mv0jcu7sk84mzr0e4z6vd8cxur3gylw6d0wvgc33cet8evm (seamns the most easy ready to go option)
nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyw8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctvqqsth3eu4eq4qtw667jpzfvxmjh5gg5pp4s25j6hccmue5d8g6c8s3qyy2qtv (not sure if its really ready yet)
And Bitvora HAVEN from nostr:nprofile1qyw8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnzd96xxmmfdecxzunt9e3k7mf0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtn4w3ux7tn0dejj7qpqutx00neqgqln72j22kej3ux7803c2k986henvvha4thuwfkper4sau8ykj (most thecnical option maybe? but seam very well documented and seam lots of people are using it, it has a blossom integrated already)
Will be interested to know if the Haven option, can be configure as a paid relay too, to create niche communities. E.g Woodworking chat room, etc.
If more people send stuff will published here.

I'm not sure how much you know about docker, etc. But I did put together a rudimentary Dockerfile for haven to build it that way:
https://primal.net/e/note13m8zf2a5q8lq3pa29xuckscf8cjzh2jsu6jjk3xmlkfg0gan7lqqwlpy5c
the bash scrip link is working. But, the docker file is broken, a 404.
I know what docker does, but haven't use it yet. I am courios enought to maybe pull it up with good doc and AI.
Defitnley will be a challenge, but I have looking for a excuse to self host a project and learn, this may be.
If you get the link fix, much appriciated.
thanks, will keep looking into it and hopefully give it a try...sounds like check almost all boxes.

He engages in bullying and trolling in private, then leaks private conversation in his live stream or videos while heavily misrepresenting them, portraying people as insane, delusional, etc. and assigning baseless claims of mental disorders which he did to Linus too. It's his standard operating procedure. Go watch his LTT video.
Out of topic... but got to say that after years of hearing about your OS...now that I see also how engage and real, your brand is on nostr, whenever I am ready to start over with a new phone, you are top of mind.
Hey thanks for that lead. Just checked the documentation and for a normal non tech person that just play sometimes with code, makes me feel I can actually do it!
I a assuming is all terminal control right?
I saw some months ago something about Hornet storage and nostr box, in a YouTube nostr presentation...was supposed to be an all in one relay with GUI. Any idea of this project?
