No 1k candle today? How boring
Got it. But can we actually do it? Like now? If the government is irrelevant then we could actually implement this on our own. So what would that look like? Go to meetups and talk about liberty? Or is there a way to actually get something going in the near term?
Is there some mechanism by which we could agree to this without involving the government? I think it's a great idea, just like it's a great idea for people not to drive 100 in a 65 zone. If we could agree to these behaviors without the government, then why don't we just do it? What would that look like?

Me a few days ago: lol, psh
Me now: Ummmm...
Oh look, 44.
This is becoming normal.
You can now trustlessly place limit and market orders directly from a hardware wallet via a non-custodial orderbook or OTC, without the maker remaining online.
Head over to https://sideswap.io and swap bitcoin confidentially directly from cold storage today.
I pegged into liquid when on-chain fees were $1. Ask me anything.
Hmmm... For zapping? The fee on my last liquid transaction was worth 11 cents, and that's with nobody using it.
AI will enable mass spying
Bruce Schneier:
It has long been possible to tap someone’s phone or put a bug in their home and/or car, but those things still require someone to listen to and make sense of the conversations... Spying is limited by the need for human labor.
AI is about to change that.
Knowing that they are under constant surveillance changes how people behave. They conform. They self-censor, with the chilling effects that brings. Surveillance facilitates social control, and spying will only make this worse. Governments around the world already use mass surveillance; they will engage in mass spying as well.... Corporations will spy on people.
