I have a habit of encouraging pretty much everyone I come across.

I like to find out what someone really wants in life but has been too afraid to go for and then push them to go for it.

My wife tells me this is a waste of my time, because often the people I encourage don’t end up following through.

But what she doesn’t understand is that I don’t do it for others, I do it for me.

If 1/100 people take the advice and change their life that’s enough for me.

Just wanted to complain about my uncle.

As the story goes, he seems to have once been an honorable man, but recently something has changed and he is not the same. I think he makes his money in “finance.” I think it’s a very sketchy scheme of borrowing from some to pay interest to others. From what I can tell he just keeps doing it, over and over and over . I’m shocked he even has investors, especially since he doesn’t treat friends/neighbors very well. Lately he has not been very honest (often lying) and is being somewhat controlling (about what’s true or not).

Many people have noticed he spends way more money than he earns. Even though he has all this money, it’s never enough money. He’s always demanding that people pay their fair share. This part is crazy, but he works with others that can make life hard for those who don’t comply with the system he set up. Where does all the money go? You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. He’ll say that the money is being put to good use and it is for everyone’s benefit, but I’m convinced it is only helping him and his closest friends.

I’m pretty sure I have found something that will protect me from Uncle Sam should things continue to go down the wrong path.

My wife and I were in a fancy restaurant awhile back.

The fancy restaurant was playing fall out boy.

Wife goes, “that’s weird? Why would a restaurant like this be playing that song?”

I reply, “they’re catering to middle aged people like you. This song is twenty years old”

she goes, “oh my god” as if it finally hit her that she’s old now lol 😂

Reminder: You’re not a young millennial anymore, you’re middle aged now. Your life is halfway over.
