That makes sense, I guess my view is/was that once you have dealt those technical items appropriately the CoC should be significantly lower on bitcoin vs US10yr + risk premium on USD. I hadn’t expected the infrastructure / engineering costs to be as high as you are inferring though. I also was looking at it from the perspective of a person or business already holding bitcoin and putting it to work rather than a purpose built business investing and expecting a return. More to think about…
Seeing more and more talk about cost of capital concerns on #Bitcoin lightning channels. I'm not sure cost of capital is the correct framing in the argument? Is this not first a safety / risk of loss and then networking, routing or connectedness concern rather than CoC. Once above is solved we can more accurately price the risk of lightning channel (and benefit of liquidity) vs. safety of cold storage.

Couple questions - Please could someone try zap me on this tweet. I think it's working if you click on my address but I can't test zapping myself (works on others) on a tweet. Also how does one change the amount you are zapping a person, I see people talking about 100 sats but mine all default to 1000...
