So an update of things to come. I plan on resuming my streaming in the mornings with I can. I want to stream the rest of wintersday on Guild Wars 2. Then I want to switch over to Guild Wars 1 and run the new Reforged Mode with my buddy Fenris. Maybe throw in some hardcore now and then.
When I am not streaming with Fenris, I plan to play and finish Divinity Original Sin 2. See you around.

Not obvious, you put the naddr of the stream in the URL like this example. The chat doesn't render nicely in the browser, as it's built to be transparent and used in OBS. Might do some changes later to make it look better. It loads the last 10 chats and 10 zaps and then show new as they come in.

When Zap Stream went down for a couple days, I got bored and vibe-coded my own livestream page directly on my website.
I set up my server to stream using the Nostr protocol NIP-53 event 30311, completely bypassing Zap Stream’s infrastructure. The only thing missing now is a live chat that fully runs on Nostr.
According to ChatGPT, it could help me build that — with proper Nostr login using browser extensions, so any npub could chat and zap me right from my site.
What blew my mind was that during the DDoS attack on Zap Stream, my stream still showed up and worked — the only one live.
Should I get ChatGPT to help me take it all the way? A fully self-hosted Nostr-powered stream and Nostr chat chat setup directly on my website?
